Little Almonds Pre-School (Children's Daycare Provider)

Little Almonds Pre-School is a long established, privately owned, pre-school in Lower Almondsbury. It operates from the Old School Hall in the lower village and serves the surrounding community. It is registered to care for a maximum of 38 children aged 2 to 5 years and accepts children from 2 years 6 months. There are currently 47 children on roll. Sessions operate Monday to Friday mornings during term time; from 09.00 to 11:45 hours and Wednesday afternoons from 12.15 to 15.00 hours. An extended session is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, when children can bring a packed lunch and stay till 13.00 hours.

Almondsbury After School Club (Children's Daycare Provider)

Almondsbury After School Club opened in 1997. It operates from the main hall, Jubilee Room, kitchen and courtyard at the Old School Hall, Almondsbury, South Gloucestershire. The club serves the local and surrounding areas. The club opens on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during school term times. Sessions are from 15.30 to 18.00. A maximum of 32 children can attend at any one time and the group currently have a total of 30 children on roll. The group currently supports children with learning difficulties and disabilities.

Almondsbury C of E Primary School (Primary School)

The school is located in the village on Sundays Hill and cares for over 250 children aged from 4 to 11yrs. The central Victorian building was constructed over 120 years ago and is a listed building, but having been renovated and extended in the 1960s and again in the 1990s all the classrooms are bright and vibrant.
